Trygve Brøske (b. 1973) is a pianist, composer and arranger living in Trondheim. He was educated at the Trondheim Conservatory of Music and the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève, where he graduated with the Premier Prix de virtuosity in the spring of 2001.

Trygve has a broad background as both a pianist and composer/arranger in many genres, and he has had the responsibility for several musical plays, revues and cabarets. As a composer, he has a very varied output, including a commission for the Trondheim Chamber Music Festival, music for choirs, various chamber ensembles and theater music.

Trygve has given several solo recitals in Scandinavia and Switzerland, and also participated as a chamber musician at festivals around Europe. he premiered the Henning Sommerro Triquarta piano concerto with Trondheim Symphony Orchestra in February 2002, and has otherwise been a soloist with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande.
Trygve is the initiator and artistic director of the Stangvik Festival. This is a bi-annual chamber music festival with a strong emphasis on contemporary music. He is also an associate professor in klaverfag at NTNU, Department of Music in Trondheim (Conservatory) and was awarded the Consumer Cooperatives Culture for 1998 and the Road Prize for 2003.
